LA DIASPORA HAITIENNE NOMME UN ENVOYE SPECIAL POUR LA CRISE HAITIENNE

Dimanche, 25 Juillet 2021  – L’Administration Américaine très préoccupée par la crise haïtienne, vient de dépêcher en Haïti un “Envoyé Spécial”.

La “Fondation Mémoire” s’est jointe à l’Association de Citoyens Américains Haïtiens de Naissance” ou A.C.A.H.N., un Groupe de Réflexion (“Think Tank”) et les deux ont décidé de nommer aussi un Envoyé Spécial pour Haïti dont la mission est de bien comprendre les graves événements récents du pays et de chercher des solutions qui défendent les intérêts des deux nations étroitement liées par la géographie et l’Histoire, ces deux nations appelées à avoir entre elles, pour employer l’expression du Président Obama un “Full and Equal Partnership”.

La Fondation Mémoire et l’ACAHN ont fait choix d’un citoyen depuis longtemps très impliqué dans les problèmes du pays intérieur et en même temps de la Diaspora Haïtienne, à savoir le Professeur Gérard Bissainthe, concepteur et premier Dirigeant du Commissariat des Haïtiens d’Outre-Mer, Professeur Émérite de la City University of New York, ex-Ministre de la Culture d’Haïti et ex Recteur de l’Université d’Etat d’Haïti.

THE HAITIAN DIASPORA APPOINTS A SPECIAL ENVOY FOR THE HAITIAN CRISIS.

The American Administration, concerned about the gravity of the Haitian crisis, has just dispatched a “Special Envoy” to Haiti. The “Foundation Memoire” has teamed up with the “Association de Citoyens Américains Haïtiens de Naissance” [A.C.A.H.N], a think-thank, to also partake on the discussion.

The two organizations have decided to appoint a “Special Envoy” for Haiti whose mission is to truly understand the recent grave events that happened in the country and to seek solutions that benefit the interests of the two nations which are closely linked by geography and history, these two nations called to have between them “A Full and Equal Partnership”, to quote the words of President Barrack Obama.

The “Fondation Memoire” and ACAHN have chosen a citizen with long time involvement in the problems of the country (Haiti) and its Diaspora, namely Professor Gerard Bissainthe, founder and first Director of the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE), former Minister of Culture in Haiti, former Rector of the State University of Haiti, and also an emeritus Professor of the City University of New York.
