Mosaic Public Media Inc. (non-profit organization) releases three PSAs on Road Safety

Brockton – INFOHAITI.NET-  Today, Mosaic Public Media Inc. is taking a bold step in raising awareness about road safety with the release of three powerful Public Service Announcements (PSAs). These messages serve as urgent reminders about the dangers of reckless driving, speeding, and distracted driving—three leading causes of preventable deaths and injuries on our roads.

  1. Flashing Red Means Stop: A Life-Saving Reminder for Drivers

Every day, school buses transport children safely to and from school. But far too often, drivers ignore the flashing red lights, putting young lives at risk. Passing a stopped school bus isn’t just illegal—it’s dangerous. This PSA highlights the critical need to stop for school buses, emphasizing that failure to do so is not just a traffic violation but a direct threat to the safety of our children.

STOP FOR SCHOOL BUSES. IT’S THE LAW. IT’S ABOUT SAFETY.

  1. Slow Down – Arrive Alive

We’ve all been in a hurry, but speeding is a gamble that too many people lose every day. Speeding contributes to nearly one-third of all fatal car crashes, doubling the risk of a deadly accident with every 10 mph over the speed limit. The faster you go, the less time you have to react—and the higher the chances of tragedy. This PSA urges drivers to respect speed limits, slow down, and arrive alive.

  1. Texting While Driving is Dangerous

Distracted driving is a silent killer. In the United States, over 3,000 people die and more than 424,000 are injured each year because drivers take their eyes off the road. Just five seconds of looking at a phone while driving at 55 mph is like traveling the length of a football field—blindfolded. Is that text worth a life? This PSA delivers a clear message: Put the phone down. Focus on the road. Lives depend on it.

At Mosaic Public Media Inc., we are committed to keeping our roads safer through education and awareness. These PSAs are more than just messages—they are calls to action for every driver to make responsible choices.
