Danvers, MA – October 7th, 2026 – PRESS RELEASE – Today, ahead of Thursday’s gubernatorial debate, Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll made a stop at New Brothers Restaurant & Deli in Danvers to talk to voters about the issues that matter most to them.
The pair promoted their record and their ongoing work to support working families, lower costs, expand opportunities for everyone, and stand up to the harm Donald Trump is doing every day. During the stop, Governor Healey stopped to speak to media about tomorrow night’s debate.

“I’m looking forward to the debate. It’s an opportunity to show the very clear difference in this race,” said Governor Maura Healey. “Every day, I’m working hard to lower costs, stand up to Donald Trump – who is jacking up the price of everything from groceries to gas – and stand up for who we are. In Massachusetts, we’re a compassionate, hardworking people, and I look forward to the opportunity to talk to voters tomorrow night… I’m going to stand with the people of Massachusetts, and Mike Minogue stands with Donald Trump, supports his policies, he helped him get reelected, so I’m going to make my case to the voters about what I’m doing and why we need to keep moving in the right direction for Massachusetts.”
