Lawrence and Lynn, MA – November 1st, 2026 – Yesterday, Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll made campaign stops in Lawrence, Lynn, Gloucester, and Lowell as part of Team Healey-Driscoll’s final “Get Out The Vote” weekend blitz. Throughout the stops, Healey and Driscoll stressed the importance of getting out to vote on Tuesday, November 3rd to ensure Massachusetts can continue its work lowering costs for working families, protecting access to healthcare, and standing up to Donald Trump. The day began in Lawrence, where Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll joined Senator Ed Markey, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Congresswoman Lori Trahan, and local leaders to rally voters across the Merrimack Valley. Speaking to an energized crowd, Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll emphasized what is at stake in this election and urged volunteers to keep knocking on doors and making phone calls through Election Day. “We need you, as teammates, out there; knocking doors, making phone calls, talking to your brothers and sisters, your sons and daughters, and your abuellas and your abuellos, and make sure everybody’s got a plan to go vote on Tuesday, because it matters,” said Governor Maura Healey in Lawrence. “Kim and I are here to fight for you… For housing, for healthcare, for public schools. We’re going to fight for jobs, investments in our communities that are real, that are growing our economy. That’s what we’re about. Every single day, our promise to you is to fight as hard for you as we can. Lawrence is a beautiful place, and it’s because of our people. Let’s bring that pride, that spirit, that grit, that resilience, so to the great people of Lawrence and the Merrimack Valley, let’s give it all we got.” Following the event in Lawrence, Healey and Driscoll traveled to Lynn for Team Massachusetts’ North Shore GOTV rally. Joined by Senator Ed Markey, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, Treasurer Deb Goldberg, candidate for Congress Dan Koh, and leaders in the labor movement. In their remarks, they highlighted their administration’s work to make life better for Bay Staters, outlined their vision for a second term, and called on North Shore residents to make their voices heard at the ballot box. “When Donald Trump takes away healthcare, we find a way to [keep people covered]. When he takes away vaccines, we find a way to provide them. When he takes away food, we find a way to feed people. When he takes away funding for education, we make community college free,” said Governor Maura Healey in Lynn. “If you think about the last two years, and what it means, and the importance of having Governors in corner offices who get it, who get results and deliver for their people, for their residents, for their workers, and for their economies.” “You know the assignment… but I want to make sure you know what you are voting for, because we know what we are voting against,” said Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll in Lynn. “You’re voting for two people who want to build housing… When you have a Governor who’s leading the way, we’re a state with the best schools in the country, the top healthcare, the strongest innovation economy… We lead with investments that matter. The team that gets that done is led by a Governor who’s caring, compassionate, and competitive as hell… and who gets up every day to get after it.” The Lawrence and Lynn rallies were part of a statewide GOTV tour with Team Massachusetts leading up to Election Day. Over the course of this weekend, Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll are crisscrossing Massachusetts, with additional stops including Halloween costume canvasses in Gloucester and Lowell, before they make their way to rally in Plymouth and Worcester and launch canvasses in New Bedford and Taunton to mobilize voters and secure a strong turnout across Massachusetts.
