BROCKTON, Massachusetts – INFOHAITI.NET- Surrounded by the love of a large and devoted family, Augereau Bazile passed away peacefully on March 30, 2025, at the age of 98. A longtime resident of Brockton, Mr. Bazile was born in Petit-Goâve, Haiti, to the late Philippe and Naomie (Joseph) Bazile.
Augereau immigrated to the United States in 1983, where he built a beautiful life with his family. Known for his sharp mind and deep faith, he was a successful accountant for many years and a proud communicant of Christ the King Parish in Brockton. Even in his later years, Mr. Bazile remained active and intellectually engaged, enjoying daily games of solitaire and, most of all, quality time with his family.
He was the beloved husband of the late Jacqueline (Belizaire) Bazile, and the loving father of a remarkable legacy that spans generations. He is survived by:

- Mr. Marko Bazile and Family
He was predeceased by his son, Mr. Ronald Bazile.
Mr. Bazile’s presence will also be greatly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Cassandra Nelson, Fritz W. A. Bazile, Christopher M. Bazile, Esther E. Bazile, Isaac Bazile, Nathan Bazile, Jamar Bazile, Arlex Bonhomme, Joshua Bonhomme, Elizabeth Bonhomme, Britney Bazile, Alexandra Bazile, Caus Junior Bazile, Noah Bazile, Cynthia Andre, Ashley Andre, Randy Bazile, Armani Bazile, Jonathan Levasseur, Sidney Levasseur, David Levasseur, Rony F. Bazile, Robinson Bazile, Refus Bazile, Lidy Bazile, Marcho Tanir Dottin Bazile, Mariah Bazile, Marcha Bazile, Hayley Bazile, and Maddison Bazile.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the viewing on Saturday, April 12, from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main Street, Brockton. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael Church, 87 North Main Street, Avon. Burial will take place at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream of the service will be available.
