This was revealed last week by Dr Jean Kagubare, Head of Health Financing Unit at Management Science for Health (MSH), an international non-profit organization that assists governments in more than 150 developing countries to strengthen health systems for the benefit of their populations.
This “Results Based Financing” (RBF) program will be funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the World Bank from next June, said Dr. Jean Kagubare. These institutions have funded, over the past two years, the design and implementation of a program in seven (7) health institutions in the North East department.
