Parliamentary mission of the France – Haiti Friendship Group

A pluralist delegation of five French deputies from the France – Haiti friendship group of the National Assembly is visiting Haiti from April 8 to 15, 2016.
Led by the president of the France – Haiti friendship group of the National Assembly, Mr. Mathieu Hanotin (deputy for Seine-Saint-Denis), this delegation is made up of three members of the said group, MM. Daniel Gibbs (deputy for Saint-Barthélemy and Saint-Martin), Yves Nicolin (deputy for Loire) and Benoît Hamon (deputy for Yvelines), as well as Mr. Sergio Coronado (deputy for the 2nd constituency of French people living outside France ).

Less than a year after the official visit of the President of the Republic François Hollande to Port-au-Prince, this trip aims to establish friendly relations with the newly elected Chamber of Deputies and to learn, through visits from field, the cooperative partnership at work between our two countries, particularly in the sectors of education and higher education, health, tourism and urban planning.
