JetBlue adds non-stop flights from Boston to Port-au-Prince (Haiti)

BOSTON, MA — (Marketwired) — 02/11/15 — JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ: JBLU), the largest airline at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS), today announced three new seasonal, non-stop flights from Boston to Martha’s Vineyard, Mass (MVY).; Port-au-Prince, Haiti (PAP) (subject to receipt of government operating authority); and Sacramento, Calif. (SMF). JetBlue will provide the only non-stop routes from Boston to both Port-au-Prince and Sacramento.

Whether you want to travel for business or leisure, JetBlue provides the option of more than 125 daily flights and 58 destinations across the U.S., Caribbean and Latin America from Logan International. Another new exciting route from Boston this spring is Cleveland, which launches on April 30,” said Scott Laurence, senior vice president, airline planning, JetBlue.

The new service to Port-au-Prince service will launch June 17 and operate through September 5, 2015, with flights on Wednesdays and Saturdays (subject to receipt of government operating authority). The Haiti service will complement JetBlue’s existing daily flights from New York City’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and twice daily service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL).

Service from Boston to Martha’s Vineyard will also launch on June 17 and operate daily through September 7, complementing JetBlue’s existing summer seasonal service from Boston to Nantucket. The new Sacramento service will launch on June 18 and operate four times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Special introductory fares are available today through February 12, 2015 starting at $49 for Martha’s Vineyard and $149 for Port-au-Prince and Sacramento one way for travel on select days between August 15 and September 2, 2015 (a). To book, please visit JetBlue.com.

Last year, the JetBlue introduced non-stop service from Boston to Detroit; Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Ga.; Liberia, Costa Rica; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and Saint Lucia. Service to Cleveland will launch on April 30, 2015. JetBlue’s summer seasonal service to Bermuda and Nantucket will resume May 14.
