Brockton, January 4, 2026 (InfoHaïti.net) — Tomorrow morning, Kim Driscoll will deliver remarks at the swearing-in ceremonies of Moises Rodrigues in Brockton and Michael Molisse in Weymouth, as several Massachusetts communities formally begin new mayoral terms.
The ceremonies are part of a busy week of municipal transitions involving top state and federal officials. Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey is scheduled to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Michelle Wu in Boston on Sunday morning before delivering remarks at the installation of Robert J. Van Campen in Everett.
Federal officials will also take part in the events. On Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, Ayanna Pressley will deliver remarks at Everett’s swearing-in ceremony and attend related events in Chelsea and Boston.
The ceremonies mark a transition in local leadership across the state, as newly elected mayors, City/Town Councils, School Committees take office and begin setting policy priorities for their administrations.
