Massachusetts: Kristen Lepore will be Secretary of Administration and Finance

Brighton- Today, Governor-elect Charlie Baker named former director of fiscal policy for Administration and Finance, Kristen Lepore, Secretary of Administration and Finance. In addition to her time serving Governor Cellucci, Kristen Lepore’s experience spans the local, state, federal and private sectors, with key positions working with fiscal policy, economic development and education. Lepore joins former undersecretary of A&F Steve Kadish, now chief of staff to Baker in the Baker-Polito administration.

“Having held this position, I know what it takes to get the job done and Kristen Lepore’s breadth of experience at the local, state and federal levels of government, combined with her private sector experience makes her the right choice to head up this important role,” said Baker. “Protecting the people’s tax dollars while investing wisely in the programs and agencies that work will make Massachusetts great everywhere, and I look forward to Kristen’s leadership in getting the job done.”

“I am honored to join the Baker-Polito administration’s growing team of bipartisan, experienced public servants as we work to carry out Governor-elect Baker’s ambitious agenda,” said Lepore. “Crafting the next fiscally responsible budget while investing in the people and services instrumental to making Massachusetts great is the administration’s top priority and a duty I am humbled to take on.”
