The Mayor of Boston, Michelle WU, attended Radio Concorde’s “2021 Reveillon Night” in Hyde Park, MA.

Boston – The second annual Radio Concorde “2021 Reveillon Night” (a community holiday celebration) was held on Saturday December 18, 2021 at Forever Young Adult Day Health in Hyde Park (Boston). The new Mayor of Boston, Michelle WU attended this fraternal celebration between staff and friends of this Haitian radio station whose broadcasts began in 1993 in the State of Massachusetts. Speaking on this occasion, Michelle Wu highlighted “the 30 years of civic engagement of Jean-Claude Sanon as a community leader”.

Afterwards, Mayor WU enjoyed meeting and mingling with the event attendees and generally, enjoying the celebratory occasion. Another elected official, State Representative Russel Holmes, made a surprised appearance to celebrate with Radio Concorde.

A heartfelt thanks to the numerous performers who entertained us with poetry, song, dance and comedy, such as Brunir O Shakelton, Vanessa Azemar Loud, Karm Syndia Augustin, Venette Jean-Pierre, Joseph Neville Marseille, Evens Hebreux, with his dancers Anne and Rose, Pe Maximo and Fequiere Lucien.

This evening was also a success due to our patrons, which included Forever Young Adult Day Health, Las Vegas Restaurant, Jacques Denis, Junior Buissereth, Jonas Jean, Cap Assett Management LLC, DJ Rock, and our staff organizers Deyzy Toussaint, Venette Jean-Pierre, Junior Mengual, Acerome Jean-Charles, Robert Selva, and Mr. & Mrs. Eddy Berett, Eunice Cake and to all of the members of our Concorde family and friends that were present, thank you so much for your generous contribution of time and treasure. Already, we invite you to our 2022 Reveillon Night Edition, provided, hopefully, that we have an immunize community in the new year.
